Once you make homemade pancakes, you'll never want to use a box mix again and the blender does all the work! The addition of Almond Paste and oats makes these pancakes high in fiber and flavor . . . think brunch.
INGREDIENTS
1-7 oz box Odense Almond Paste, grated 2 cups buttermilk 2 eggs 4 tablespoons melted butter 1 1/2 cups flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup quick cooking oats Oil for griddle

DIRECTIONS
Add Almond Paste, buttermilk, eggs and butter to blender. Blend until smooth.
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt into blender. Add oats and blend until mixed.
Heat large skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly oil.
Pour about 1/4 cup amounts of batter from blender onto hot skillet. Flip pancakes over when edges are dry. Cook until brown on both sides. Serve with favorite toppings.
Note:
Add a bit more buttermilk or water for thinner pancakes.
